Hey dudes! I’m chipchompdoodles, and I like to make doodles, origami, games, and more. The purpose of this website is to bring you pictures or videos of what I make or do. So look below to see my latest cool stuff!
Today I have a couple of things (both of which were made a while ago) to show off to you.
First, we have a Origami Mushroom made from a ketchup cup and colored with an orange Pilot G2.
I may post instrux, but, to be honest, it’s quite simple. You could probably figure it our rather easily.
Next, we have an art project I did for school. As you may know, I’m not really that much of a painter, but I did a canvas painting. Here it is:
It is a traveller, looking upon the long, tiresome road he must trod upon to reach the top of the mountain. I added a yellowish golden glow to the top to make it seem more epic. I like it for the most part, but don’t even get me started about the shoe! >:/
The sky was originally going to be solid blue, but I decided to spice things up with some diagonal lines/weird clouds.
Please let me know what you think!
RANDOM FOLLOWER QUESTION:
What would you name the above painting?
Today is my one year anniversary!
Here’s a terrible joke I just made to celebrate:
I’m sorry. I just had to.
Anyway, here is the random flower monster doodle thing I promised in the title:
When I saw that flower, a monster was totally the first thing that came to mind. So yeah. With a little help from Aviary, this came into being.
And now it’s time for the Random Follower Question. This is a new thing I’m starting where at the end of every post, I leave you with a question to answer in the comments. (This is totally not a cheeky way to get y’all to leave comments or anything!)
RANDOM FOLLOWER QUESTION:
Do you play an instrument? If so, which one(s)? I play guitar.
Recently I made this Marshmallow Gun out of some PVC pipe!
It was a lot of fun to make. The materials I used are listed below.
- 2 ft. PVC pipe with diameter of 1/2 in. (Cut into section 5 in., 5 in., 5 in., 5 in., 5 in., 1 in., and 7 in.)
- 2 Elbow joints (1/2 in. diameter)
- 2 T-Joints (1/2 in. diameter)
- 2 End-caps (1/2 in. diameter.)
Here is the fully assembled gun:
It work’s pretty well!
NOTE: The 1 in. piece of PVC is hidden in this photo. It is connecting the Elbow joint at the top with the T-Joint below it.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any marshmallows the right size to work with it. So I created some ammo by rolling up some duct tape:
Here’s a tip for anyone that makes their own PVC marshmallow gun:
When firing, make sure the bullet is quite a bit back in the barrel. (But not too far!) This will allow you to shoot farther.
Anyway, this was a fun little project. I got all the materials (including 8 extra feet of PVC) for just about $5.
Hey, that reminds me of supper! How nice!
Anyway, I am here today to show you this little object I made with a 3D Pen. I don’t own one, but I got to use when and it was a lot of fun. Anyway, here is my “homemade” fidget toy:
I originally made a cube and a tetrahedron as two different objects. Then I found that the tetrahedron can go inside the cube! It is pretty difficult to get in, which means if you shake it it doesn’t fall out.
So that’s pretty much it for now…
So, if you read the last couple of posts, you should know that I am starting a relatively big (and exciting) art project. It is a webcomic.
That’s right. As you probably know, I have been interested in making comics for quite a while. It has taken me much time and thought to finally settle on one idea. I am not taking it too seriously, so although it has an “action” kind of theme, it really is more humor based.
Anyway, I present…
It is about a piece of toast with a cape, a extremely talkative strip of bacon, and an evil jalapeño.
To host this webcomic, I am using a platform called ComicFury. It is kinda like WordPress in that it allows you to make your own “website.” However, it is mainly meant for webcomics.
Anyway, here is the link to my site:
At the time of this posting, I do not have very much up there yet. However, I will continue to add strips, probably doing about 1 page a week.
With all that said, please check out my webcomic. Feel free to leave a comment or rating there to let me know if you like it. If you enjoy it, and want to continue reading it, I may post here when update it, or you can just check there about once a week.
NOTE: I needed to choose a username and copywrite to make comics with. I chose the name Nutmeg, as it is short, memorable, and I like it. So FYI, Nutmeg is me.
Well, that about wraps it up.
Happy Father’s Day to any of your fathers!
Anyway, my family likes Android much better than Apple. Especially my dad. So, for Father’s Day, I decided to give him something to make his desk look cooler – an origami Android!
Here it is:
It also doubles as a finger puppet; there’s a little slot in the back that can be used to hold it.
I did not make this design… An instructions video can be found here.
Anyway, I hope you all like it!
Once again, I apologize.
But I don’t even wanna think about how long it’s been since I posted, so I’m just gonna continue with this post.
Anyway, first off we have a couple random doodles I made a while ago:
I know the quality isn’t the best, but it’s just a sketch…
Also, I drew this random yelling character thing:
I just drew a random shape and decided to make it into a mouth.
And lastly for doodles, here is a, uh, breadstick dragon thing my friend drew:
Ok, that concludes the art section. Now onto the news!
So first of all, I’ve had a pretty crazy summer so far which is why I haven’t been posting. I’m fairly confident now that I will be able to post more.
Second, I’ve started a rather ambitious art project this summer. I am now making a full-color webcomic. Currently, I only have about two comics posted, as it takes a LONG time to make them. However, I am making more and once I get a bit more up, I will share the link here. I’m pretty excited for it, and I hope you all are too. (If there are any of you left after my, uh, slightly excessively lengthy break…)
Anyway, see ya’ll later!
